SANParks is offering up to 40% discount to new reservations made for Wilderness and Backpack Trails taking place in February 2020 in the Kruger National Park.
- 15% discount on offer for bookings of 1 or 2 guests
- 20% discount on offer for bookings of 3 or 4 guests
- 30% discount on offer for bookings of 5 or 6 guests
- 40% discount on offer for bookings of 7 or 8 guests
This special offer applies only to new reservations made from 28 January 2020 for one of the following trails taking place between 2 and 29 February 2020, subject to availability:
- Lonely Bull Backpack Trail
- Mathikithi Wilderness Trail
- Mphongolo Backpack Trail
- Napi Wilderness Trail
- Nyalaland Wilderness Trail
- Sweni Wilderness Trail
- Wolhuter Wilderness Trail
On the Wilderness Trails, accommodation is provided in a base camp with four rustic two-bed units (regrettably, fees will be not be reduced further for single occupancy), and meals are included in the tariff. On the Backpack Trails, participants provide their own camping equipment and food for the duration of the trail. Full logistical details for each trail will be provided when booking.

The discount applies only to the cost of the trail. No discounts will be offered on other accommodation, conservation fees, Wild Card purchases, other activities, meals not included in the trail, etc. A 1% Community Fund charge will apply to the discounted reservation cost and standard payment, modification and cancellation rules apply.
