Update on the Re-opening of Letaba High Water Bridge

The re-opening of Letaba High-Level Bridge in the north of Kruger National Park (H1-6) tar road has been rescheduled to 18 March 2026, which is a few days later than the initially anticipated date of 13 March 2026. This change in dates has largely been necessitated by rainfall over the past week that resulted in the technical team losing approximately three days of production.

The bridge was extremely damaged during the devastating floods of January 2026, requiring extensive repairs.

Measures have been put in place to accelerate the remaining work required to re-open the bridge.
