South African National Parks (SANParks) CFO Rajesh Mahabeer has been recognised for his work by being nominated for a CFO Award. The annual “Oscars for South African CFOs”, to be held on 11 May, recognises CFO's of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions and awards them for outstanding performance and leadership.

Rajesh Mahabeer says “SANParks is a large, multifaceted organisation with several focal areas, including tourism, conservation and the management of estates. This mix creates a different level of complexity. I would say SANParks is far more complex than other environment where I've worked.”
