Re-routing of Hoerikwaggo Trail
The De Goede Hoop Estate Trust has advised Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) that a portion of the Hoerikwaggo trail traverses land which is owned by the Trust. TMNP is required to close and terminate access to their land by 30 April 2014. As a result, this section of the trail will have to be re-routed and TMNP Management is in the process of investigating suitable alternative routes for trail users.

Paddy Gordon, TMNP Park Manager says, “We regret the current course of events, and wish to assure trail users that the Park undertakes to investigate an alternative route that will provide an equally outstanding experience.”
An alternative route will be finalised and communicated by 30 April 2014.
