The SANParks online forums have grown in leaps and bounds since our last infrastructure change and with us doing this change, we are allowing more growth potential to the forums as well as streamlining the current users and load the server has.
Downtime details:
Date: 25th November 2014
Time: 11am SAST
Duration: One (1) hour – Forums will not be available during this time, including the mobi version.
We will monitor the forums for the period after the change, and in the event of any technical issues that require us to revert the change we will have minor data loss (any new data posted to the forums after 12pm) to the rollback.
The scheduled downtime will not affect other functions on the SANParks website such as online bookings, availability, etc.
