N2 Closure and Detour Maps
The N2 at Kaaimans Pass between Knysna and George remains closed until further notice because of rockfalls and mudslides caused by the recent heavy rains. The National Park authorities in this region are in constant communication with the disaster management team and structural engineers involved in managing the damage to the roads, and will provide further information on the situation as it becomes available. Traffic between Wilderness and George is being re-directed to the old Knysna-George route via Saasveld. Please find the map of the detour attached herewith.
