Media Release: SANParks to offer prime animals at Wildfees

South African National Parks (SANParks) will once again be offering quality animal genes at this year”s 16th annual Kirkwood Wildsfees Game Auction on Friday 30 June.

A total of 56 prime, disease-free buffalo will be on offer from Addo Elephant National Park (AENP) outside Port Elizabeth, while Mountain Zebra National Park (MZNP) near Cradock will, for the first time, be offering 50 Cape mountain zebra.

Kirkwood is situated in the picturesque Sundays River Valley of the Eastern Cape and is the heart of the province”s wildlife industry, situated in close proximity to AENN.

Hosted in partnership with the organisers of the annual Wildsfees, the auction gives breeders from across the country an opportunity to purchase prime game from AENP and MZNP as well as a number of accredited breeders.

The SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees takes place from Friday, June 30 until Sunday, July 2.

Gates open from 9am and festinos can party late into the night.
