Media Release: Phabeni Gate and low water bridge reopen for tourists
“The past week was an inconvenience for our guests who use Phabeni Gate as an entry and exit point from the Park. The Park”s Engineers immediately started with repair work on the bridge as soon as the rain stopped last week and they managed to restore access once more on that road,” said the KNP”s General Manager: Communications & Marketing, William Mabasa.
Other roads in both Marula and Nxanatseni regions of the Park which were also temporarily closed and have since re-opened are: S65 (between S1 – H1-1), S4 (between S3 – S1), S32, S34, S36 (between H1/2 – S125), S84 loop, S125, S135 and S56.
