Many city dwellers are understandably keen to spend time out of cities and today there is much emphasis on “lifestyle and quality of life” and the importance of spending time in the outdoors… Many people see thier recreational activity as participating in conservation, but meanwhile back home, daily activities are having a tremendous impact on the environment that extends beyond their homes. Few people are aware of these impacts and what they can do about them…This talk aims to tell you more about how city slickers can make a an active difference to conservation…
