Flooding in Knysna

Please note that due to extremely heavy and continuing rain, Knysna National Lake Area will not be contactable, and the public are advised to avoid travelling to the area. There is wide spread flooding. The road to Sedgefield is closed due to collapsed contruction work, the towns water supply has been cut off, and there is a lot structural damage. Emergency services are attending to the situation, and we will post updates on the website as and when they come through.
