Fire Reported at Letaba Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park
A fire was reported on 24 September at Letaba Rest Camp affecting two tourist units. The camp staff members including ranger team reacted immediately and managed to contain the fire before it could spread.
No injuries or fatalities were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage and investigations are underway. An update will be provided in due course.
All other facilities such as the park shop, filling station, the elephant museum and camp reception remain operational as normal.
