Following the flooding incident at the Wilderness Ebb and Flow Rest Camp of the Garden Route National Park, South African National Parks (SANParks) announced the opening of the camp. The camp was temporarily closed due to flooding.
Accommodation facilities have not been affected by the floods and accommodation and camping are available for bookings on https://www.sanparks.org/reservations.
Tsitsikamma and Knysna Sections of the Garden Route National Park remain open to the public. The following hiking trails remain closed, Half Collared Kingfisher Trail, Gallinule Bird Hide, Brown Hooded Kingfisher Trail, Waterside Boardwalk, Woodville Big Tree, Outeniqua Hiking Trail and Canoe activity.
