Intention to Adopt the Kruger National Park Management Plan 2018 – 2028 and the Generic Environmental Management Programme
This serves as notice of the intention to adopt the Kruger National Park Management Plan 2018 – 2028 and the Generic Environmental Management Programme for the Kruger National Park as Environmental Management Instruments and to exclude Identified Activities from the Requirement to obtain an Environmental Authorisation.
Road and bridge closures due to flooding

Guests advised to use Phabeni Gate instead of Numbi Gate
Please note that due to safety and security concerns, guests are advised to enter/exit the Kruger National Park via Phabeni Gate instead of Numbi Gate. Guests are also advised to make use of the R40 road instead of the R538 between White River and Hazyview.
Please take note that Kruger National Park falls within the malaria endemic area of South Africa. Please consult your travel doctor/general practitioner about how you can prevent malaria while visiting.
We request visitors who contract malaria after having visited the Park to immediately report this to the doctors in Skukuza, as this can assist in recording and identifying the affected areas. There are resident medical doctors permanently based in Skukuza, Kruger National Park’s main camp, and the public can consult them for information and advice prior to their visit to the Park on +27 13 735 5638.
