Singita Sweni Lodge
Tucked into the banks of the Sweni River, this intimate lodge is a hidden jewel that provides a bold, new African context for contemporary design, architecture and food.
Exuding a glamorous attitude, Singita Sweni’s seven suites – with the addition of a pool suite for families – are hidden in the trees, and guests have private access to 33,000 acres of the Kruger National Park. Gold and bronze ore, polished mud, and gleaming recycled timbers add texture, splashes of vibrant colour are inspired by beetles, chameleons and birds’ wings, while neutrals draw in the light.
Sweni Lodge has 6 exclusive suites overlooking the Sweni River and an additional Pool suite with its own private dining deck and swimming pool. Constructed almost entirely of wood and glass in an open, contemporary style for optimal views. Each suite offers complete exclusivity and privacy and has an en-suite bathroom, mini bar, and deck, complete with an outside bed and shower.
Guests can enjoy excellent ‘Big Five’ game sightings, as the area holds the highest densities of game and bird life. Guests are treated to exceptional cuisine with traditional African ingredients combining simplicity with an abundance of flavour, as well as a unique and comprehensive wine cellar stocked with the finest selection of South African wines.
