Winter school fun at Mountain Zebra National Park
The free programme is open to all children between the ages of six and 16, as well as those young at heart. The game drives, however, are only for the youngsters, and is the only activity which is offered at a reduced rate.
Activities for the period are:

| Monday 30 June (09h10 to 11h10) | A guided game drive at a cost of R70 per child |
| Tuesday 1 July (10h00 to 12h00) | Watching nature-based DVD such as the animated Madagascar movies |
| Wednesday 2 July (11h00 to 12h00) | A guided game drive to a rock art site inside the Park at a cost of R65 per child |
| Friday 4 July (12h00 to 13h00) | A range of leadership activities |
| Saturday 5 July (17h00 to 20h00) | Watching nature DVD”s like African cats and the Story of an African Farm etc |
| Sunday 6 July (09h00 to 11h30) | A guided 2.5km Black Eagle hiking trail |
| Monday 7 July (10h00 to 12h30) | Signs of the wild: identifying tracks and other signs |
| Tuesday 8 July (09h00 to 10h00) | A guided 1km hiking trail |
| Wednesday 9 July (09h10 to 11h10) | A guided game drive at a cost of R70 per child |
| Thursday 10 July (10h00 to 12h00) | A story telling session |
| Friday 11 July (11h00 to 12h00) | A guided game drive to a rock art site inside the Park at a cost of R65 per child |
