Skukuza Safari Lodge remains operational as normal following damages caused by fire on 29 October 2025. Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
Diners at the restaurant were safely evacuated and no injuries occurred.
To minimise disruptions, a temporary dining hall has been set up at the restaurant using back-up systems.
The fire and water used for extinguishing destroyed a portion of the roof. Clean-up and repair operations are underway, and further updates will be provided in due course.
