SANParks To Continue With Ground Assessment Of Fire Damage To Silvermine
SANParks has decided to open the following three trails Trappies Kop, Elsies Peak and Peers Cave at Table Mountain National Park. This is in addition to Chapman’s Peak and East Fort.
Upper and lower Tokai, as well as Silvermine remain closed until further notice. Weather conditions yesterday prevented us from concluding the aerial assessment and we are now proceeding with ground assessment.
Most boardwalks have burnt and we need to remove dangerous rails and pins on trails.
