SANParks mourns the death of acclaimed ecologist
As the former Director of Conservation and Development and Director of Parks for SANParks, his death marks a sad day for the conservation world. Dr Hall-Martin was one of the founders of African Parks and authored numerous books and innumerable scientific journal articles. Mr Abe Sibiya, Acting Chief Executive Officer, SANParks said, “Dr Hall-Martin was a stalwart of SANParks who served SANParks for 25 years. His death is a great loss to the conservation sector and our sympathy goes out to the family for the loss of their loved one”.
