The price per walk is R140,00. This includes a light snack and water bottles and a small backpack is provided to make carrying these easier. Two, well qualified armed Field Guides will accompany you on a 3 to 4 hour walk. These are not regimented route marches through the bush, but highly enlightening and interpretive walks. Indemnity forms are completed prior to the walk; your Field Guide will spend a few minutes with you, giving a pre-trail briefconcerning safety and general guiding ethic before departure. No children under 12 will be permitted.
These Day Walks are taken in unexplored areas and are in a radius of about 20 km around the different camps. All of the big 5 occur there and other aspects of the diverse system are pointed out. The following items (of a personal nature) must be brought along by the participants:
Bookings can be made at (012) 343-1991. See you in the bush!
