South African National Parks (SANParks) today announced that it will be rescheduling its planned inaugural Tourism Investment Summit, from Monday, 27 March to Tuesday, 4 April 2017. “However, the venue remains the Maslow Hotel in Sandton.”
According to SANParks Managing Executive: Tourism Development & Marketing, Hapiloe Sello; in light of clashing commitments of some of the key speakers at the Summit, “the organisation took a decision to move the date slightly to ensure that a quality speaker line-up is retained for the benefit of the Summit attendants.”
“We apologise profusely for the rescheduling which could not be avoided and hope that the initial confirmed attendees will still take up their seats at the summit,” said Sello.
She said the summit now scheduled for Tuesday, 4 April 2017 at The Maslow Hotel, Sandton, hopes to attract key decision-makers in tourism investments, including financiers, property developers and hospitality operators. “Our national parks offer potential investors with diverse business opportunities in various areas including adventure activities, eco-tourism property development, retail and many more”, concludes Sello.
