Media Release: Public Must Be Aware Of Rip-offs In The Name Of South African National Parks
We advise the public that this is a scheme to defraud them of their money. The individuals involved have no mandate from the SANP to raise funds at street corners, shopping centres or holiday destinations like Hartebeespoort Dam.
The only SANP public fundraising initiative still active is the Kruger National Park Disaster Relief Fund which is collecting donations to help rebuild the infrastructure of the Kruger damaged by the floods in February. Members of the public who wish to contribute to this fund can do so at:
