Media Release: New rates for Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage Site

South African National Parks (SANParks) yearly price increase kicks-in on Wednesday the 1st November 2017. Mapungubwe National Park &World Heritage site which is situated outside of Musina in Limpopo”s new conservation fees will be as follows:

  • South African residents will be R48 and R24 for adults and children respectively.
  • SADC nationals is R96 and R48 for adults and children respectively.

Activities in the park will also increase as follows:

  • Heritage tour- will increase from R230 to R245
  • Game drive will increase from R275 to R300

The park can be contacted on (015) 534 7923 for accommodation and activities such as bush braais and museum tour rates.

SANParks charges 1% Community Levy on all reservations for accommodation and activities in order to fund projects that support the surrounding communities. These new fees are valid from 1 November 2017-31 October 2018.
