Media Release: New dining and shopping experiences in MZNP

Both are under new management – by Pieter de Kock, owner of Mila”s Restaurant in Cradock.

Mountain Zebra is the perfect place to spend Heritage Day this year, as it celebrates the change in restaurant management by introducing its new and improved menu. Heritage Day lunch specials will include dishes such as lamb shank and samp as well as the newly introduced range of ostrich, mutton and vegetarian pita burgers.

A local marimba band will be on hand to provide entertainment over lunch from 12:30 to 13:30.

Bookings for a lunch on Heritage Day are essential, and can be made by calling (048) 881 2427/3434 or emailing [email protected]. A confirmed lunchtime booking will include once-off free entry into the park for the day, affording patrons the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the park after lunch too.

Mountain Zebra National Park boasts a rich cultural heritage including Bushman paintings and engravings, Boer War sites and historic buildings. The Park is also the best place for locals to enjoy the unique natural heritage and rich biodiversity of the area.
