Media Release: Concerned citizens spotted dead fish in Sedgefield
Additional water samples were collected by rangers to test potassium levels in the water. Although SANParks is bringing the Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries (DAFF) specialists onboard, Senior Section Ranger for Marine in the Wilderness section of the Garden Route National Park (GRNP), Jonathan Britton, has warned citizens not to collect and eat the dead fish until investigations yield the source of the problem.
No other fish species were collected either than the Grunter.
