The Mountain Club of South Africa (MCSA) is holding its annual memorial & thanks-giving service at Maclears Beacon on the top of Table Mountain on Sunday 24 February.
This multi-faith service will start at 12:30 and will be led by Dominee Barend Nel of the MSCA Tygerberg Section.
This event is usually very popular with members from the Cape Town Section of the MCSA as well as from their out-of-town sections such as Paarl-Wellington, Worcester and Hottentots-Holland.
MCSA members will be ascending Table Mountain via a number of different routes as decided by individual groups.
Anyone in the area is very welcome to join the MCSA members at Maclears Beacon for the service and the MCSA would also like to thank everyone involved for the hard work in improving the safety & security situation on Table Mountain over recent months.
