It is time to nominate the Top Performers of Conservation – Nominations for the 2024 Kudu Awards are now open

South African National Parks (SANParks) is calling for nominations for the 18th annual Kudu Awards. The Kudu Awards honour and celebrate exemplary conservation efforts with the intention of placing a spotlight on South Africa’s national and cultural heritage which is an embodiment of our country’s national pride.

The Kudu Awards are open to a wide array of persons with a demonstrable passion and love for conservation and wildlife. Part of the recognition of award winners includes a financial reward that is primarily intended to contribute to the efforts of the recipients’ positive contribution to conservation.

The awards consist of the following categories:

  • Corporate
  • Non-Governmental Organisations
  • Media Contribution to Conservation and Eco-Tourism
  • Community Contribution to Conservation
  • Environmental Education
  • Individual Contribution to Conservation
  • Professional Stakeholders
  • Associated Partners
  • Women in Conservation
  • Youth in Conservation
  • Innovation

It is imperative to submit your nomination/s by or before the closing date. The final date for entries is 21 October 2024. The award winners will be announced at a function to be held in November.
