Flash Floods Inside and Outside of |Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park
Park officials had to wait between three hours for the water level to drop in order to get back to the park. They manage to get back but arrive very late at night. The park is still accessible to visitors.
Nearly 15km from the Helskloof gate another flash flood was evident but was cleared by the mining company Trans Hex in order for motorist who was stranded on both sides of the road pass through.
