Camdeboo National Park

Lakeview Tented Camp

Four rustic furnished tents provide a relaxed nature experience. Each tent sleeps two people and has a braai unit, fridge, table and two chairs. Bedding and towels are provided. There is a communal kitchen equipped with stove plates, cooking and eating utensils and microwave. Tents are booked as individual units but there is also a communal braai area for group use. Communal showers and toilets are provided.

Kalahari Tented Camp

Situated high up on a red sand dune, overlooking a waterhole in the dry bed of the ancient Auob River, the Kalahari Tent Camp welcomes you to capture the spirit of the land of thirst. This exclusive getaway for the discerning visitor, boasts 15 desert tents each elegantly decorated with rustic finishes using wood, sand and canvas exteriors al in the resonate colours of the park. The tent camp is 3 km from the Mata-Mata Rest Camp where Kalahari Tent Camp residents can refuel and get basic supplies at the shop. The camp is designed in such a way that residents feel they have only themselves and the desert for company.


Kruger National Park

Lower Sabie Rest Camp – Safari Tents

Lower Sabie offers 24 two-bed permanent furnished canvas tents on stilts, (some accessible to wheelchairs) that are fully equipped, with two single beds, a fridge, overhead fan and small veranda. Some tents include a river view.

Tamboti Camp

Tamboti tented camp is a small camp situated on the banks of the Timbavati River, on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park, approximately 2km East of Orpen Rest Camp.

Due to the size and location of this camp, Tamboti is one of the most popular camps in the Park. A great feature is a boma, which makes it ideal for small groups of people to gather around the campfire and relive the animal sightings of the day. The natural bush feeling is kept inside the camp, which has the result of emphasizing guest privacy. Ten semi-luxury three-bed safari tents on stilts are fully equipped, with a shower, fridge, cooking and braai facilities. It contains a double bed and a sleeper couch.


Mapugubwe National Park

The Limpopo Forest Tented Camp

The Limpopo Forest Tented Camp is situated in the Limpopo Riverine Forestry, which offers excellent birding. It is located in the western section of the Park. The camp is close to the Maloutswa pan hide and archaeological sites. The forest tents are self-catering and each has a bedroom, open deck, kitchen, shower and toilet. Physical disabled people are catered in one semi-luxury forest tent with 2 beds, kitchen, shower and toilet. The camp has a unique eco-trail, as well as a swimming pool to cool off the heat.


Marakele National Park

Bontle Camp

It’s no coincidence that bontle means “beautiful” in Setswana. This pleasant rest camp has 10 tented units for those who would prefer a permanent structure more than putting up a tent and camp themselves. The tented units consist of four (4) family units and six (6) two sleeper units. All these units have a private veranda and are self-catering with its own fully equipped kitchen and outdoor braai stand.

The rest camp, with its unobstructed views of the unspoiled bush and mountain, is located in close proximity to the Park’s main entrance gate.

Tlopi Tented Camp

Guests get to relax in furnished tented units while gazing across the banks of the Apiesrivierpoort Dam. Each tent has two beds, a private bathroom (shower, wash basin and toilet). A fully equipped kitchen ensures your comfort. Lazily enjoy the tent’s veranda with table, deck chairs and braai facilities. The unfenced camp allows for a more “environmental” camp experience and is approximately 17km from the Reception office.


Namaqua National Park

Flowers Beach Camp (only available during August/September)

For a limited period during August and September, the hugely popular annual Chiefs Nomadic Camp is established in a remote and scenically stunning location, one kilometre north of the Groenrivier entrance to the national park. 12 dome tents are equipped with beds, soft comfortable duvets, hot blankets and electric lights to ensure that you wake up refreshed and completely rejuvenated. Furthermore you can enjoy the privacy and convenience of your own hot shower and spacious dressing room and a chemical flush toilet.

Flowers by day and stars by night, a visit to the Namaqua Flower Skilpad Camp in the Skilpad Nature Reserve, 30km from Kammieskroon, the closest town, is an unforgettable experience. For a limited period from August to September, the hugely popular annual luxury Chiefs Flower Camp is established in this remote and scenically stunning location. 20 dome tents equipped with beds, soft comfortable duvets, hot blankets and LED lights to ensure that you wake up refreshed and completely rejuvenated. Smitswinkel Tented Camp

This tented camp, situated just over the road from the entrance to Cape Point, lies in the shade of a weathered Flowering Gum plantation. Its location provides the ideal base from which to explore the wealth of attractions in the South Peninsula. Boulders Beach, home to the world-renowned colony of African Penguins, is just 15 minute drive away.

Slangkop Tented Camp

Nestled within indigenous Milkwoods, no more than 100m from the sea, this marine-themed tented camp is the perfect location to watch the sun sink in the Atlantic Ocean. Situated at the edge of the quaint village of Kommetjie, the camp offers a nature-based experience with the convenience of shops and restaurants close by. This is also the only camp with a dedicated play area for small children.

Orange Kloof Tented Camp

The turnoff to this camp is just down the road from Constantia Nek going towards Hout Bay. The camp itself lies nestled within the ancient restricted-access Afromontane forest of Orange Kloof.
