What is the SANParks Rewards Programme?

SANParks Rewards is a free loyalty programme with exclusive benefits to our most valuable customers.

What benefits do I get as a member?

As a SANParks Rewards member, you’ll enjoy:

  • Members-only discounts on stays and experiences
  • Early access to offers, special events and promotions
  • Last-minute “Blitz Specials” for spontaneous getaways
  • Personalised offers based on your travel preferences

Do my benefits expire?

Most benefits, like discount offers or Blitz Specials, are time-sensitive and will have clearly stated validity periods. There’s no expiry on your membership.

How do I earn points or progress through tiers in the SANParks Rewards Programme?

Not at this stage, however, expect more offers and benefits to be introduced as the programme evolves.

How do I become a Rewards member when I don’t have the Wild Card?

You need to have a SANParks Account to sign up as a SANParks Rewards member. You need to be a member of SANParks Rewards to purchase a Wild Card subscription.

How do I join the SANParks Rewards Programme?

  • You can join the SANParks Rewards Programme by signing up online via the official SANParks website, www.sanparks.org.
  • Existing Wild Card members: You’re automatically enrolled! Just activate your account via the email link sent or on your member profile.

Do I need to be a South African citizen to join the Rewards programme?

No, you do not need to be a South African citizen to join the SANParks Rewards programme. The programme is open to all our customers.

Is there a membership fee for the Rewards programme?

Enrolment into SANParks Rewards is completely free.

What if I want to leave the programme?

A member may close their account if they do not have an active Wild Card subscription. To purchase a Wild Card subscription, an active SANParks Rewards membership account is a prerequisite. When a SANParks Rewards membership account is closed, all the benefits associated with it will immediately cease to exist.

What happens when I cannot access my account?

How do I opt out of receiving marketing information from the programme?

At any time, a SANParks Rewards member may opt out of marketing communications by unsubscribing to receive marketing communication.
