People With Disabilities

Wheelchair Access

With the Park’s developmental status, few specific facilities for people with mobility impairment exist. There is one of the four cottages at Skilpad Rest Camp that is adapted for use by mobility impaired guests and there is a universally accessible ablution at the Skilpad Visitor Centre. However as the Park develops, the needs of people with all forms of disability will be considered.

An in-depth accessibility profile for Namaqua National Park has been compiled.
