Grantham Environmental Education Centre
Situated 40km from the main gate, on the western side of the Park.
This facility was built to allow for real-life environmental learning experiences which includes outdoor activities and guided walks tailored to the needs of visiting groups. School groups who stay overnight engage in an intensive environmental education programme together with walking trails.
The facility is able to house up to 50 people in nine bedrooms with separate ablution blocks as well as a lecture room equipped with audio-visual aids for presentations.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove and gas stoves, refrigerator and freezer, urn and crockery and cutlery for 50 people.
A braai lapa provides an ideal facility for outdoor or night-time cooking.
