Manager: Human Capital Management

The Organisation requires the services of a Manager: Human Capital Management in the Human Capital Management division to provide end to end human capital services by partnering with business through support, guidance and strategic advice to line managers and all other employees and increase organisational effectiveness. This position is a permanent position and will be based at Groenkloof, Pretoria.

Requirements

  • Degree In Human Resource Management & Development.
  • 4 – 6 years generalist HR experience.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies.
  • Knowledge of relevant HR legislation.
  • Understanding of SANParks policies and reporting framework.
  • Knowledge of good Corporate Governance practices.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the HCM policies, SOPs, frameworks, and practices.
  • Facilitate consultation process.
  • Raise awareness and capacitate line on new and reviewed HCM policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Advise line management on hr practices, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and facilitate a productive workforce.
  • Contribute to the development of and implementation of the strategic HCM plan in consultation with line management.
  • Ensure alignment of the divisional/park operational plans to HCM operational plan.
  • Deliver on the HCM Business Partnering service delivery model.
  • Contribute to the development of a talent acquisition and retention strategy.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse metrics and HR data trends to proactively solve people-related challenges and improve retention.
  • Manage and coordinate the forecasting of the organization’s human capital requirements to deliver on strategic objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support line managers on the probation and assures quality of the induction processes.
  • Coach managers on feedback, career development, compensation trends, and succession planning.
  • Diagnose skill gaps, change management initiatives during restructuring, and design optimal team structures.
  • Manages the data sourced from all exit processes for continuous improvement (retirements, resignations, incapacity due to ill health, deaths).
  • Administer the processes that facilitate employee movement (deployment, transfers, promotions, and secondment) within the organisation in full compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate, participate and implement the delivery of all HCM programmes i.e. EW, OD, Learning and Development, Employee Relations and EE & Transformation.
  • Compile regional TNA report and intervention plan based on the budget allocated.
  • Participate and contribute to the regional EESDF Forums.
  • Assist with the audit responses and the implementation of all HCM related audit remedial action plans and ensure compliance,
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Resolve complex workplace conflicts and maintain deep knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure salary instructions and employee information are submitted timeously.
  • Provide effective leadership for the team and ensure cohesion and culture of high performance.
  • Compile HR plans and staffing requirement for the department. (Staff development and training, career management and succession planning).
  • Ensure performance contracts are compiled and monitored.

Salary

R737,415.00 – R921,795.00 Annual Package
