Before you can purchase an activity permit you are required to sign in or create a new SANParks Account.

The TMNP My Activity Permit is required by individuals who make use of the Park to undertake a specific/variety of activities. Activities requiring a permit are as follow:

* A valid DFFE recreational fishing permit is required when purchasing a Level 3 line fishing permit and will be requested for validation when entering at Cape Of Good Hope gate ( Cape Point)

I hereby acknowledge, understand and accept that by entering Table Mountain National Park, I may encounter natural and manmade obstacles as well as noxious plants, animals and insects which may pose a risk to me and/or my children and/or those entering the park with me. I therefore agree that South African National Parks (SANParks), its directors, employees and agents are not liable to me and/or my children and/or those accompanying me whatsoever for.-
- loss, damage or destruction of any property; and/or
- the death or bodily injury to any person, even if caused by the negligence of SANParks, its directors, employees or agents.
I furthermore agree that by acquiring this permit and signing this permit personally or on behalf of a third party, that I am duly authorised to enter into this agreement personally for and on behalf of those accompanying me as their duly authorised representative.
Terms and Conditions of Purchase:
- Permits and Identification should be carried on you at all times and be available upon request for presentation.
- At pay point areas where daily conservation fees are applicable, a My Activity Permit holder will only be allowed access for the purposes of undertaking the specified recreational activity permitted in that section of the Park.
- If a My Activity Permit holder is accessing a pay point area for leisure (not for the specified recreational activity) purposes, normal daily conservation fees apply. Alternatively, a TMNP My Green Card or SANParks Wild Card may be presented.
- A guardian can purchase an activity permit on behalf of a minor and in doing so acknowledges and accepts the SANParks indemnity on behalf of the minor and the minors parent and or guardian.
- An applicant can purchase a permit on behalf of a third party and in doing agrees that by acquiring such a permit on behalf of a third party, that they are duly authorised to enter into this agreement personally for and on behalf of the third party as their duly authorised representative.
- Any person under 12 years old must have a guardian /adult accompanying them when they undertake the permitted recreational activity.
- Permits are not transferable.
- SANParks entry is subject to visitor capacity and gate entry times.
- Prices and terms of use are subject to change without notice.
- Any misuse of the permit. misconduct or illegal activities will result in immediate confiscation and applicable legal ramifications will follow.
- My Activity Permit holders may only undertake their permitted recreational activity in areas designated for this purpose as per the relevant Environmental Management Programmes.
- Level 1, 2 and 3 are not included in the SANParks Wild Card or My Green Card.
- My Activity Permits are available for purchase to all visitors to Table Mountain National Park.
- The My Activity Permit may not be used for commercial gain.
- My Activity Permit holders may not undertake more than one recreational activity at a time.
- The My Activity Permit is valid for 12 months from date of issue.
- Persons wanting to undertake the removal of west coast rock lobster need to purchase a Marine Species Access Permit in order to carry out this activity.
- Alternatively, they can pay for full entry at the gate and buy a daily Marine Species.
- Access Permit. A My Activity Permit, SANParks Wild Card and My Green Card cannot be used to gain access to the COGH (Cape Point) section of TMNP to remove west coast rock lobster / crayfish.
