EPWP Programme Employment Opportunity: Clerical Environmental Monitor

EPWP Employment opportunity currently exists for clerical Environmental Monitor within Groenkloof. The above-stated position is a fixed-term contract up to the end of 31 March 2027. The appointed participant will be time rated as per Expanded Public Works Programme rate of R406 per day. Preference will be given to women, Youth, and person with disability.

Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12/NCV Level 4 certificate.
  • Public or Office Administration qualification (NQF Level 5).
  • Minimum of 1-year general office Administration experience.
  • Proficient in English and on other official languages with good written and verbal skills.
  • Basic Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
  • Able to work independently with Minimal supervision.
  • Must be in good physical health.
  • Understanding of basic principles of Health & Safety.
  • No criminal record.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Successful candidate will have to undergo medical test.

Responsibilities

  • General administration – including timesheets, reports and office management.
  • Capture Environmental monitors Time sheets, overtimes, leave days and payments schedule.
  • Minutes taking and Filling.
  • Receiving and postage of parcels.
  • Assist with procurement’s processes.
  • Processing of service provider invoices for payment.
  • Update and maintain program filling.
  • Assist with administration duties for BSP monitoring project.
  • General data capturing linked to the project.
  • Liaise with Environmental monitors in all regions.
