Nearly 1000 aspiring entrepreneurs will take part in the Economic Inclusion Roadshow taking place from 23 to 26 March in various parts of Limpopo Province. Participants will be from Vhembe District Municipality – Musina and Collins Chabane Local Municipalities and from Mopani District Municipality – it will be Greater Giyani and Ba-Phalaborwa Local Municipalities as follows:

  • How local SMMEs have benefitted from KNP’s business opportunities in relation to SANParks’s Supply Chain Management Procurement Plans and Tourism Development Projects.
  • How to strengthen market and supply chain linkages by connecting SMMEs with buyers, investors, government agencies, and supplier development opportunities within the biodiversity economy
  • How to promote sustainable and inclusive business models that support conservation objectives and drive economic transformation.

SANParks has a responsibility to provide economic opportunities for businesses based in communities which surround the National Parks. As a public entity, SANParks must follow strict procurement requirements and one of the ways of opening access is to provide up-to-date and relevant information to businesses and communities explaining what SANParks can and cannot do.
