Media Release: Vodacom Blue Bulls Support Conservation

South African National Parks (SANParks) and the Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd are partnering to create awareness for nature conservation. The Vodacom Blue Bulls launched their new Home and Away kit today (30 November 2018) with the design inspired by the courageous protectors of Fortress Loftus.

The new Away Kit will feed into the Bull’s theme and campaign for next year built around courageous protectors, with exciting initiatives to be announced early in 2019 by the Vodacom Blue Bulls, SANParks and WILD Card. Vodacom Blue Bulls support for SANParks efforts will include endeavours that will raise awareness and funds to protect our natural heritage.

Barend van Graan, CEO of the Blue Bulls Company, said, “We are especially proud of the green and white away jersey, as this further strengthens our bond and ties with conservation groups. In 2019 the #BullsFamily will partner with conservation bodies in becoming warriors and custodians of our natural heritage”.

SANParks Strategic Advisor Fundraising, Mpumelelo Ndebele said that he is delighted with this partnership and encourages more South Africans to get on board. “One of the biggest challenges to conservation in the 21st Century is wildlife crime and without the help of all people we will not halt the attack on our natural heritage. Thank you Blue Bulls Company for joining the conservation effort to help conserve our natural heritage for future generations.”
