Constantia Nek Fire
Table Mountain National Park Fire Management Department deployed ground firefighting crews and Volunteer Wildfire Services to contain a fire above Constantia Nek. Crews from the City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue Services are also on-site to assist with containment efforts.
Hikers are advised to avoid using the road leading up to the Back Table and to keep the parking area at the bottom of Constantia Nek clear for emergency vehicles.
