4 X Project Managers: IDP Program Implementation and Project Management (Fixed-Term Contract)

Vacancies exists of 4x Project Managers in the Kruger National Park on a fixed term 3-year contract basis. Stationed in Kruger National Park: 1 Nxanatseni Region and 3 Marula Region. The incumbents will be expected to provide own accommodation outside the park hence the package took that into account.

Requirements

B-Tech or Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions as a Candidate Construction Project Manager (SACPCMP) or any other relevant professional body.
At least 5 years’ experience in a Project Management position.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and Microsoft Project
Sound financial management and contract management knowledge.
A valid Code EB Drivers licence.
Sound knowledge of infrastructure procurement and FIPDM processes.
Sound knowledge of the OHSACT, Construction Regulations and Environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

Ensure sound project and contract management of various IDP program projects relating to Corporate Infrastructure upgrading, Renovations and new works programs.
Administration of contracts in terms of the JBCC and GCC form of contracts.
Ensure compliance with OHSACT, Construction regulations and Environmental.
Management of contracts and contractors as per conditions of contract.
Management of external consultants and internal staff as required.
Compilation of infrastructure maintenance and renovation works budgets.
Project Financial management and progress reporting.
Quality Assurance and compliance to specifications.
Liaise and communicate with relevant stakeholders and role-players.
Ensure sound internal controls and adherence to policies and procedures.

Salary

R737 415.00 – R921 795.00 Annual Package
