How To Apply

Briefing Session

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at the SANParks Cape Regional Offices Boardroom in Table Mountain National Park on 10 March 2026 starting at 11:00. A 15-minute grace period will be allowed, after which no one will be allowed to enter the session after 11:15, and this will not stop the briefing session from starting at 11:00.  It is your responsibility to travel to the park timeously.  

Tender documents will be available for sale from 10:00 – 11:00 on a first-come-first-serve basis before the compulsory briefing session. Should you not be able to procure a tender document before the start of the compulsory briefing session, time will be allowed after the briefing session and site visit for such.  Please note that the Tender Briefing Meeting Certificate in the tender document will only be signed after the site visit which forms part of the compulsory briefing session.

The tenderer must be represented at the site inspection by a person who is suitably qualified and experienced to comprehend the implications of the work involved.  Attendance of the site inspection is compulsory, and a tender will be disqualified if the site inspection is not attended by a representative of the tenderer.

Bid Submission

Tenders may only be submitted on the tender documentation that is issued at the site clarification meeting and fully completed in writing legibly in non-erasable black ink and signed where required. Requirements for sealing, addressing, delivery, opening and assessment of tenders are stated in the Tender Data.

Tenders in sealed envelopes marked clearly with the identification details: “CONTRACT NO:  CI-GK-0161/A – THE REBUILD OF RHODES MEMORIAL TEA ROOM AND UPGRADE OF ASSOCIATED BULK INFRASTRUCTURE IN TABLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK”  must be deposited ONLY in the tender box at the South African National Parks, Technical Services Office, Bellville. The Bridge Centre, 1st Floor, Lobby 2, 3034 Durban Road, Bo Oakdale, 7530 on or before the stated closing date and time.

Only a hard copy of the tender document will be accepted and is to be deposited in the Tender Box at the SANParks Technical Services offices. E-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.
