PPP Investment Opportunities

In line with SANParks’ Strategic Plan for Commercialisation, SANParks intends to form a public-private partnership (PPP) which gives a selected private party the rights to the commercial use of the Groote Schuur Estate Tea Room and Restaurant with a function’s venue, curio retail shop and related tourism activities within the Northern section of Table Mountain National Park.

SANParks invites prospective investors and operators to submit bids in line with SANParks’ mandate and aims and responsive to the SANParks’ specifications and objectives for this tourism PPP opportunity.

Briefing Session

• A due diligence briefing meeting for prospective bidders will be held via MS Teams on 24 July 2024 at 11:00. Please download the MS Teams app. Please mail us by 23 July 2024 to confirm your attendance for both the due diligence briefing and site meetings.
• A due diligence site meeting for prospective bidders will be held at the Groote Schuur Tea Room and Restaurant, Table Mountain National Park, on 25 July 2024.

Bidders are required to submit proposals, only in the format given in the RFP document, to:
