Introduction
The junior marine scientist reports to the marine scientist. Their role at the CRC is to conduct marine biodiversity monitoring and research, write up findings, represent SANParks in working groups and committees, carry out administrative requirements, collaborate with other researchers, conduct education and awareness-raising through publications, conferences, and science communication, translate science to inform the management of marine protected areas, contribute to data management according to protocols and contribute to state of knowledge reports.
