Research Focus and Interest
My current research is aimed at exploring non-material benefits of nature from the perspective of both visitors of, and management of Mountain Zebra National Park in the Eastern Cape. Beyond my current study, my interests are found in exploring the intrinsic values of nature and re-awakening our sense of one with our surrounding environment. I enjoy community engagements projects and I am eager to expand my knowledge on topics around indigenous knowledge, qualitative methodologies and long-term sustainability projects that involve mixed methods & interactive fieldwork.
