Introduction
Keaton thrives at the intersection of environmental science, restoration, and stakeholder engagement. With a strong foundation in geomorphology, hydrology, and conservation, his work spans restoration planning, environmental monitoring, and the integration of science into policy and practice. He has contributed to mine rehabilitation, coastal dune management, and conservation corridor planning, while also facilitating dialogues among diverse social partners to build consensus around sustainable solutions. Keaton holds an MSc in Environmental and Water Sciences from the University of the Western Cape, with a focus on non-perennial river systems in the Karroo.
