Research Focus and Interest
As Science Liaison Officer I am responsible for coordinating all research permit applications as well as liaising with researchers and park management in Namaqua, Tankwa Karoo, West Coast, Bonetebok, Agulhas and Table Mountain National Parks.
I am interested in evidence-based conservation and the science management interface. I am specifically interested in finding ways through which the gap between science and management can be bridged.
