Introduction
The role of the Science Liaison Officer at the CRC is to facilitate, implement and monitor the research project registration process for the Cape Research Centre and Arid and Central Node, ensure compliance of research process with SANParks organisational protocols, ensure that meta-data, research datasets, reports, theses and publications are deposited with SANParks, organising research committee meetings, communication with researchers, coordinate projects/source coordinators, summarise and present research applications and reports, quarterly reporting for APP report, knowledge collation, compile and coordinate science needs, e.g. as lists of potential research projects, and coordinate webinars that explain outcomes.
