Reference is made to the Final Maintenance Management Plan (MMP) for the proposed maintenance of existing roads and associated infrastructure within the Marula Region of the Kruger National Park, Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Mpumalanga Province.

As specified in Regulation 4(2) of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations, 2014 (as amended), all Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) must be notified of this decision as well as their right to appeal this decision.

The attached letter highlights all relevant information from the decision for the Adoption of the MMP that needs to be made available to all I&APs.

The Applicant, South African Experiences Trading (Pty) Ltd., has appointed an independent EAP, Cape EAPrac, to facilitate an Application for Environmental Authorisation via a Basic Assessment (BA) process for the proposed ‘Diepwalle Forest Tented Camp’, a temporary, seasonal tented camp within the Diepwalle Forest section of the Garden Route National Park, Knysna (Remainder Farm 218 Deep Wall).

The Draft Basic Assessment Report (DBAR) will be available for a review & comment period of 30 days, from Tuesday, 6 February to Wednesday, 6 March 2024, on the Cape EAPrac website: www.cape-eaprac.co.za / Active Projects.
