This follows two special meetings between SANParks and HOSPERSA which consequently took place last week, 22 February 2012 and again yesterday wherein it was resolved that a joint meeting shall be held with the strikers representatives in order to find an amicable solution to the strike.
“We hope that the outcome of the meeting on Thursday will produce positive results; our wish as management is to see the striking employees returning back to work as soon as possible.” said KNP HOD of Communication and Public Relations, Mr William Mabasa.
The strike has entered its 4th week since it started in the KNP on 3 February 2012; and some of the staff members at Mapungubwe National Park have since joined in.
