We are proud and excited to share the 2024/2025 SANParks Research Report, which highlights how being a scientist in SANParks continually redefines what it means to practice science in a conservation agency context.
The stories in these pages not only share science contributions from our national parks in easy-to-read language but also show the people behind the research and the many roles they play within SANParks, science, and society. Alongside the photographs that help tell our stories and showcase the beauty of our national parks, this year we also experimented with artistic interpretations of nature images, celebrating the creativity and inspiration that emerge at the intersection of nature, people and science.
