Cape Research Centre
In the Cape Research Centre’s GIS office, GIS is used as a tool to support research by helping to illustrate findings and understand geospatial relationships in the Cape’s fynbos and succulent Karoo parks.
The GIS lab offers a number of GIS, Remote Sensing and printing services to Parks:
- Access to GIS shapefiles
- Creating custom maps
- Spatial and Remote Sensing analysis
- Printing and laminating up to A4 size
- CyberTracker coding
