Background
SANParks embarked on a Commercialisation as a Conservation Strategy in 2001. This included the outsourcing of existing restaurants in order to improve efficiencies, and attract capital investments and expertise from the private sector. The Compass Group is the food and beverage operator running the restaurants in the park.
